Positive: The hut and location are generally fine.

Negative: The property page said "superb breakfast at the property". It was not until we received an email from the property after booking that we realised that the Shepherds Hut does not include breakfast. The owners must be aware that this happens because of their email. No tea, coffee or millk. The bed was a very small double and so not very comfortable. The lighting wasn't good enough to read in the evening. The bathroom wash basin is too tiny for washing. The heating remote control was missing and it was not obvious how to operate the heating.

Summary: Nice hut but could do with some adjustments.

Positive: Such a delight! The hospitality was genuine, helpful and excellent ... It is so hard to find fault with this B&B ... and so Close to the wonder that Is Rye! Fabulous.

Negative: I just wish the shower was smidgen better...but actually, even that was fine...and I am nit-picking to massive degree.

Summary: A joy in every way. Spotless, tasteful rooms combining with glorious hospitality in a rural idyl.
